I've written feature articles for 1859, Willamette Week and other publications. Some of my favorite assignments have involved synthesizing tons of information and creating pieces that are accessible and engaging.

This piece on WATER RIGHTS in the era of global warming was a chance to delve into a topic and create a balanced overview that would make sense to people not involved in the issue.

When CANNABIS was legalized, 1859 sent me out to create a "guide to legal weed for grown-ups". I learned a lot about the various types of businesses popping up as a result of legalization.

This historical piece about the poisonings carried out by the followers of the Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh in the 1980s (As seen in Netflix's "Wild, Wild Country") was part memoir since the RAJNEESHIS also poisoned my dad.
